I have been focusing on my studies and learning. I began living a more fulfilling life with many activities that keep me busy. These activities included reading and discussions with my fellow scholars. Hello All, It has been a year since Caesar's death and I am doing well.  I wanted to share some tips that helped me deal with the death of my beloved husband.  The first thing I had to do was accept and acknowledge the death. I was able to do this by giving away Caesar's papers to Marc Antony. This allowed me to begin to process the death of Caesar.  The second thing was to not isolate myself from others. You may want to be alone and just deal with your feelings, but this is not the best way to deal with grief. This would cause loneliness and make the grieving ...

                                                                                                      March 15, 44 B.C. Hello All, Caesar woke up and I told him about my dream. He told me he was suppose to go into work today. I begged him to stay home to go and at first he agreed but he quickly changed his mind and decided to not to go into work today.  I currently pacing the room. I am filled with stress and worry for Caesar's life. I will not rest until he comes home tonight. Hopefully everything will be okay and I just had a freak dream.  Best,  Calpurnia

                                                                                                     March 15, 44 B.C. Hello All, It is 4:00 am in the morning and I just had an awful dream. No one is awake at the moment and I need to share my crazy dream with someone. I also want to get your thoughts and opinions. Here is what my dream consisted of, I see a beautiful statute of Caesar with blood flowing out of it as many Romans wash their hands in the blood. Later in the dream, I see my beloved Caesar die in my arms.  I am shaken up and can not fall back asleep. Dreams always have secret messages in them and I do not know what to take away from this dream. I am worried for my poor Caesar...

Hello All, Please forgive me for not updating for awhile, I was working on fixing my relationship with Caesar. It has been a tough year filled with lots of discussions and thoughts. After lots of time, I have decided to forgive and stay with Caesar because everyone makes mistakes and our love is strong. I just wanted to remind everyone that you can always work through your problems if you are dedicated to trying. He was going to marry Pompeia because she is the daughter of Pompey and Mucia, and Caesar was trying to fix their political relationship. I have been staying busying being a wife to Caesar and growing our relationship. Caesar and I have a real true love connection now, and I could not be happier. I truly care and worry for him everyday and do not know what my life would be without him. I am very happy and living a great life. I have also been keeping up with my reading and learning. Also here is a picture of us on our wedding day!

                                                                                                       May 15, 59 B.C.  WOW! What a time it has been. I have been so busy getting used to my new life with my new husband, but I wanted to update you all on how the wedding went. The day could have not gone any better. I was pampered with my friends and mother and then married a wonderful man.  Here is a picture of my dress. Here is a picture of the location. It was truly beautiful!

                                                                                                    March 25, 59 B.C.  Today is the day I am getting married!! I am very excited and nervous! This day is filled preparations. First I will start off by taking a bath in my parent's house and get ready with my mom and friends. I will do my hair and get dress and then it is off to the ceremony. Then there will be a small celebration and I will begin my life with Julius Caesar. Wish me luck!
